Why work with me?
I'm an award-winning writer, comedian, actor, director and dramaturg, with 20 years' experience making work for stage, TV, radio and online.
I work with artists to figure out what their show is, what it wants to be, and what's getting in the way. I can help with structure, narrative and pacing, character and plot. I can punch up comedy, interrogate choices and untangle the hot mess of multiple ideas you have brewing.

The Creative Deep Dive
My most popular package. A personal creative deep dive into your ideas: 2 × 90 min sessions (online or in person). Includes pre-meeting prep (me reading up to 10 pages of material/ideas and sending you questions/prompts), homework in between the sessions, and a written report to guide you to your next stages.
The Fresh Perspective — Online
Your work. My friendly feedback. 2 hours online: your script (pre-read by me — stage or screen) read by you, with feedback and creative direction support from me.
The Fresh Perspective — In Person
Your show, any stage, 4 hours: performed in front of me with feedback, light direction suggestions and additional design suggestions (staging, sound, lights).
Script Dramaturgy
Your script. My edit and next-draft suggestions. Fees subject to script length, production stage, budgets and number of drafts. I help identify narrative and structural issues, dips in pacing, character development, dialogue and gag work. You refine. I revisit.
Direction
Your show. Our vision. Fees subject to production info (venue, budgets, rehearsal period, previews etc). Via a producer or direct with you. Shows come in all sorts of packages — big and small, Fringe and professional. I can work to suit your availability and budget.
Additional Material: Comedy
Your script. My gags. Fees subject to budgets, type of project and amount of material required. Half-day or day rate basis.
